Recommended schedules can be as often as 30,000 miles or as long as 100,000 miles. Manual transmissions require service more often. This service typically takes one to two hours to complete and consists of flushing the old fluid out of the system and replacing it.

What is the difference between a simple exchange or a flush? A quick exchange simply drains the fluid from the transmission using gravity to empty the casing. A flush is recommended as it pushes all the old fluid out, reducing the amount of debris and old fluid remaining in the transmission housing when refilled with new.
